Things are starting to heat up hecticly on the social calender, as it is the season. It is the Halloween party, the Christmas party, the ex chair ride, Brian Finch at the clubhouse etc. Please go to the calender page on the website and see what is happening, otherwise you are going to lose out.
We also have the Game Lodge raffle which is a huge fundraiser for the club. Thanks to De Wet from Intundla Game Lodge, and Birgit from Lazy Stays for the prize. It is a 3 night stay for 2 at this exclusive lodge, including food, game drives, return flights and transfers. We are selling 1000 tickets at R100 per ticket.The money raised will pay for the aircon/extractor system for the clubhouse.
I would also like to thank Vernon from EWC, who is our 'official' courier company for the club. They have been transporting all our goods free of charge since I started the clubhouse project, and is still doing it for free. The least we can do is support them. Phone me for a reference, and their contact detail.
When you read this, there will only be one more club meeting for 2009. How time flies when you are having fun!

MEMBERSHIP AND SUBS 2009
Great news! Despite double digit inflation during most of last year, the committee has resolved that there will be NO INCREASE in the membership subs for 2009! Subs will remain at R1200 a year. Subs for the year 1 March 2009 to 28 February 2010 are past due. Please make your payment ASAP to
Members that do not wish to renew their membership must please submit an email or letter of resignation to the committee. Emails are acceptable. The R500 joining fee will apply should the member wish to re-join at a later stage.
Probationary members please advise the Secretary / Membership Officer, Sean Neethling, once the requirements for full membership have been met. The requirements are 2 club rides, 2 club events (e.g. club meeting) and 1 overnight event (e.g. Knynsna Oyster Festival). Full members will be announced at the club meeting, awarded the club colours and may vote.
